Award Contest Rules

• Nominations for entries must be submitted as typed, written or electronic word documents.
• Nominations must include route driver name, company name, address and telephone of the nominee as well as the name, company name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the nomination.
• Nominations for the route driver of the year will be accepted from any employee of an active vending and/or office coffee service operation. Route drivers may nominate themselves.
• Nominees must be employed as a route driver of a vending and/or office coffee service operation on October 15, 2008.

Click "Awards" in the navigational bar, then select "Route Driver of the Year."

• Nominations must be received by August 15, 2008.
• Entries will be reviewed by Automatic Merchandiser personnel, ("the Judges"). In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged on the basis of sales performance. The winner will be chosen by the Editor of Automatic Merchandiser. The decisions of Judges are final in all matters relating to the Contest.

Nominate your Route Driver now!

A winner will be chosen based on proven abilities, as described in the entry, in the following areas:

• Sales performance (50%)
• Professionalism and proficiency while performing their job duties (10%)
• Safety record (10%)
• Customer service (10%)
• Outstanding qualities that make the nominee an exemplary and outstanding employee (20%)

The winner will be featured as the cover story in the October, 2008 edition of Automatic Merchandiser magazine. There is no retail value associated with this portion of the prize. Prize will be awarded to the nominee — not the nominator.

Additional prizes, provided by Kraft® Vending & OCS, include, but are not limited to:

• Medal
• Plaque
• 2 Day / 2 Night trip for winner and a guest to attend the award ceremony at the National Automatic Merchandising Association National Expo (October 15 - 17, 2008, St. Louis, Missouri). Trip includes Round-trip airfare and two (2) nights hotel accommodation.
• Total estimated retail prize value not to exceed $3,500.

The winner will be chosen by September 15, 2008 and announced at the National Automatic Merchandising Association National Expo, October 15-17, 2008.

Employees of Automatic Merchandiser and Kraft Foods Global, Inc. and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to win the Route Driver of the Year Award.
